Monday Morning Musings

Sometimes, the best restyle in the world is the one that is not fancy or artistic but is the one that makes a little girl wild with excitement. A Daisy Duck iron-on patch and some gems glued to a spare clutch made my little girl's weekend. I love that the clutch is more a messenger size for her and I love that she thinks Mommy is the most amazing creative out there! Daisy looks pretty happy too!

Birdy Messenger Bag - Restyled

I love canvas bags. This was a plain one waiting for something special. A beautiful tree stamp and two birds cut from a wool skirt. A small one on the front and his larger cousin adorns the back...both with pearl eyes. This is one of my favorite restyles so far!

PUBLISHED!!! (exciting stuff)

My first time in a beautiful publication!

I am so excited and grateful to announce that my restyled purse "Vintage Station" is included in the October issue of Haute Handbags magazine! There are many, many beautiful bags and purses of all types in this publication and to be among them means a lot to me. I hope you have a chance to check it out and enjoy all of the incredibly talented artists who are included.

This is the back side of the purse, not pictured in the magazine.

Funky Messenger Bag

Nothing like a little "Before and After!" I had a lot of fun and was excited to see how this bag turned out. My "plans" went out the window and serendipity kicked in - I love it when that happens!
